Weather Patterns collected for the BC Archives at the Royal British Columbia Museum

Beyond excited to have six large-scale prints from Weather Patterns collected by the BC Archives at the Royal British Columbia Museum. They will join the rest of the archives in the new Langford facility opening in 2024.

Special thanks to Dr. India Young, Curator of Art and Images at the RBC Museum (who only added to my elation when she mentioned "This is the first example of contemporary photography the museum has collected in decades. I can’t say for certain but possibly since the 1950s!")

Born and raised in BC just 150 miles from the museum, this is particularly meaningful for me both as an artist with a strong place-based practice and, quite simply, as a "local boy" who deeply loves this glorious land.
