Decade of Change – the global photography award and exhibition from 1854 and British Journal of Photography, dedicated to documenting the climate crisis – is back, and this year’s winners have just been announced. Covering subjects from drought to the brutal effects of development, climate anxiety to the ways in which an ever-heating world is adversely affecting underprivileged communities, the chosen images – which include one moving image work, two series and 30 single images – reveal the true potential of photography as a tool for action.
